What is a medication refill?
Medication refills are often needed yearly if you are prescribed a medication. We offer the ability to examine you and refill your prescriptions if needed. We are licensed by the state of Iowa to prescribe medication.
What Pharmacy do you use?
We have a network of pharmacies in the state of Iowa, South Dakota, Nebraska, Minnesota, etc. that we can send your medication refills. We commonly send prescriptions to Lewis Family Drug in Rock Valley, but as previously mentioned we can send them about anywhere as long as we see you in the state of Iowa.
What if I want to look at discontinuing my medication and trying something alternative?
We understand the many benefits that modern medicine has to offer. There are a plethora of medications that can help your conditions. We also respect your concerns and questions that you may have regarding medication. Please let us know prior to your appointment if you are interested in alternative means to medications that may assist you. This allows us a little time to research what is available.
What are the costs?
Medication refill appointments on average cost between $50-$100. Please reach out to your pharmacy should you want to know what your medication costs. We can offer some guidance on costs but these prices change frequently and vary significantly between pharmacies.
